2. Traceroute from your computer to Basecamp's servers:

For Windows:
1. Go to Start (start button on the lower left of the desktop)
2. Choose 'Run'
3. Type: "cmd" (no quotes)
4. This should bring up a DOS prompt. Once there, type: "tracert 3.basecamp.com" (without quotes)
For MacOS:
1. Open Network Utility from your Utilities folder
2. Select the Traceroute tab
3. Type "3.basecamp.com" in the input field
4. Click "Trace" button
For MacOS Big Sur:
1. Open a Terminal window
2. Type "traceroute 3.basecamp.com" (without quotes) and hit return
For Linux:
1. Open a Terminal window
2. Install "traceroute" with your favorite package manager
3. Type "traceroute 3.basecamp.com" (without quotes) and hit return

3. Copy & paste the results from your traceroute commands and the above tests into a message to Basecamp Support.
