2. Traceroute from your computer to Basecamp’s servers

For Windows
Go to Start (start button on the lower left of the desktop)
Choose 'Run'
Type "cmd" (without quotes)
This should bring up a DOS prompt
Once there, type "tracert 3.basecamp.com" (without quotes)
For macOS
Open a Terminal window
Type "traceroute 3.basecamp.com" (without quotes) and hit return
For Linux
Open a Terminal window
Install "traceroute" with your favorite package manager
Type "traceroute 3.basecamp.com" (without quotes) and hit return

3. Copy and paste the results from your traceroute commands and the above tests into a message to Basecamp Support
